What are the costs for international transfers?

There are two types of costs that you need to be aware of when making payments to a foreign country today. A fee and the Foreign Exchange Margin (Valutamarginalen).

Fee:
Every time you make a payment or receive a payment from a foreign country, you have to pay a fee. This fee is a separate posting on your account. You can check what you pay for each specific one on your feenotes. The feenotes are usually to be found in your web bank.

Foreign Exchange Margin/Valutamarginalen:
Each time you make a currency exchange there is a standard exchange rate, this consists of an average rate where a currency margin will either be removed or added.
