How does November First fight money laundering?

As a payment institution licensed by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, we are subject to the rules of the Act on Preventive Measures against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing ("Hvidvaskloven").

The rules mean that we must be able to prove that we know our customers.

  • We must be able to identify beneficial owners.
  • We must be able to explain the extent and purpose of our clients transfers through us.
  •  We must be aware of and identify atypical and suspicious transactions.
  • We must notify authorities if a suspicion regarding a transfer cannot be refuted.
Therefore, you may find that we ask for identification or documentation, or that we ask more about certain situations. This does not mean that we suspect you of something.
The requirements mean that we collect, process and store information about our clients businesses, and in some situations we ask them to document the information. The information is stored in accordance with the requirements of the law.

Under the Money Laundering Act, we are obliged to investigate certain transactions, and in certain situations we must notify the Public Prosecutor for Special Economic Crime.
